I went to Afrofunke at Club Zanzibar tonight to dance.
I highly recommend you get to Santa Monica to dance the night away to music from all around the world next time you are free on a Thursday night.
The bands are hit and miss, but the DJ does a good job of leading the crowd from Jamaica, Brazil, or Somalia to Trinidad, Tobago, or Tahiti.
I personally shook my not so little bootie for the majority of the night.
